At last...someone breaks the stunned silence!

LOL...yes, a little strange.

BUT, not as strange as what passes for politics. Not as strange as killing each other over religious differences. Not as strange as the surreal fact of global warming. Not as strange as my ex husband.

Everything is relative.

Your ex husband was strange?

Well, now. My ex husband was soooooo strange that, even after 14 years of marriage he is still a stranger to me.

I tried to think of something funny, but none of it was funny. It was really very disturbing. How is it that some people find intimacy so threatening that they can't even say a person's NAME? I used to think it was just a bad habit to call me only endearments but never ever my name. But, no. I learned, far too late, that calling me by name was actually painful for him. Very strange. I don't get it.
