Out on the Limb

Captivity

Quote of the Day:
"The only animals that get old are the ones in captivity."

Spoken by Ray Mendez, one of the characters in the movie, "Fast, Cheap & Out of Control"
I highly recommend watching this movie, especially if you like Zen.

PS - Are you alive?

Are we alive?

You're the one who's M.I.A. half the time!!!

I know I'm not alive. Like the lion in the circus, I grew up in a cage; therefore, the cage feels like home and freedom feels like a cage.

Yes, I'm MIA half the time. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Or maybe I'm very alive with pain and confusion. I see my cage. I see the freedom. I see the tools needed to dismantle my cage at my feet. What I don't see is the method of using the tools; or perhaps my impatience prevents me from picking them up. It doesn't matter what the reason is. The result is the same.
