Tile UP!
no grout allowed for 24 hours, but it sure is nice seeing tile instead of a bare beam. Actually, I tiled 2 beams and a decorative 1.5' x 2' square.
On to more important things. I have been talking and promising that I would get those bumper stickers on the car, and I'm very anxious to do so. But I'm finding it more difficult that I thought to piss in the wind.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, right? I work for some very rabid and religious Bush lovers. When I roll into the packing lot with 18 anti-Bush etc. bumper stickers, I will be igniting the powers that be. Which is OK by me, except that I need my job for just a few more weeks. And so I ask myself...is it wise to tempt fate when I can, instead, wait until I give my 2 week's notice to broadcast my attitude and opinions? I'll not be able to blog from work once I tip my hand, either.
No harm done if I wait a few weeks.
Plenty of harm done if I get fired for being impatient. Yes, I know they can't fire me for the bumper stickers. But employers have ways.
I detest this waiting game. No hope for it.
