Horseless in LaConner

Monday, September 12, 2005

Staying "home" is awkward without a vehicle since I would need to vacate if any potential buyers wished to view the property.

So Whisper and I visited LaConner, WA, today. By chance, a horseless carriage club rolled into town. Many participants wore authentic clothing from early 1900's. What struck me was how easily the fabric wrinkles AND....who cares? The real stuff, wrinkles or not, is good enough for me. Everyone looked great and all were having fun.

The horseless carriages were fun, too....especially the "steamer".
